Buffalo Bayou “1836”

Buffalo Bayou “1836”

ABV: 5.7

20160829_202715_1472733195663The can is what really caught my eye on this copper ale (even though it had no ink jet markings – gonna have to pay these guys a visit!)

1836 is brewed here in Houston by Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. and I love these guys! Their sense of humor and apparent patriotism is awesome! Who doesn’t enjoy a little smack talking when they are drinking??

These guys put it right on the can!

1836 is a full-flavored, sickness heavy brew. It has a copper/amber color, cialis 40mg but a darker taste. I found this one to be pretty bitter, more about almost like an IPA bitterness, but still very malty.

As I was drinking it I kept thinking that it tasted like it was poured straight out of a whiskey barrel instead of a glass, which I think is quite an accomplishment on the Buffalo Bayou guys part!
