This bock poured a bright amber color with a thin layer of head and smelled delicious! It had an almost sweet creamy aroma, viagra like caramel!
I would say it was medium bodied with a healthy level of carbonation. It had a creamy, smooth mouthfeel and a pleasant sweetness – the aroma didn’t disappoint, the taste was on par!
It’s a malt heavy brew, not any distinguishable hop bitterness and I have to admin, for the abv content I’m impressed there wasn’t more an an boozy bite! It was well hidden within the creamy sweet malts.
This is the perfect spring beer! For that warm afternoon with a slight breeze….
I was also impressed with the fact that the flavor held up even after the beer started warming up! This one is seasonal, so only available 2 months out of the year, but I think it will be on my grocery list next March for sure!!
