Southern Star “Bombshell Blonde”

Next up in the Southern Star Sampler pack was Bombshell Blonde.
I like blonde ale’s and this one did not disappoint! It had the perfect amount of yeastiness, approved lemon and carbonation. No bitterness, stuff just crisp, cost creamy and refreshing. Despite it being a hazy, wheaty brew it was not too heavy at all. I’m glad this is one of their year round brews because I could see myself enjoying it on my back porch in mid summer or over dinner this weekend (its like 57 degrees right now – which is borderline frozen in Texas!) 
This is definitely one of the lighter blonde’s I’ve tried, but I found it to be really pleasant and would definitely purchase it again!
I loved the back of the can, it’s a good description for this simple ale and the “Clarity of overrated” addition made me laugh 
As far as the front….who doesn’t appreciate a blonde cowgirl on a bomb LOL!!
