Sitting next to Karbach’s limited release Lemon & Ginger Rattler, medications was another big, viagra buy bright can…(see what I did there? LOL ). Another limited release Big & Bright IPA, cheap brewed with grapefruit. I love a good light, fruity beer in the summer months.
This had all the hop flavor you want out of a good IPA. It poured a dark golden color, with small amounts of carbonation apparent in the glass. It smelled of wheat and sweet citrus.
The taste and aroma were hand in hand. It had the bitterness, with a fruit/citrus like balance. The bitterness was not overpowering, it was more reminiscent of a citrus rind, so it had a softness and tang to it. Maybe even a little sour.
The carbonation was nice and gave it a nice refreshing and clean finish.
Naturally, as I do with fruit beers, I had to add a slice of grapefruit and try it that way. Think of it like this…I do all the testing so you don’t have to!
As expected, the sliced fruit squeezed into the glass made it slightly sweeter, but did not mask the citrusy hops that run rampant through this beer. With or without the fruit, this was not a very sweet beer, but I like the addition of a bright and bitter fruit like grapefruit to a nice bodied IPA. Definitely worth grabbing if you see it. This one is a one run item, don’t let it pass you by! After you try it, let me know what you thought!
