This is a fun one! I almost missed it, viagra dosage it was tucked away on an end cap at my local HEB, remedy didn’t have any in the cooler!
The can just reminds me of a picnic!! I love it! I also love the name! Apparently this is a brand new one for Texas and Louisiana, order you can read an article on it, as well as how this brew was named here.
This beer is made with an obscene amount of fresh raspberries! The color, aroma and flavor all come from it and it is spot on!!
I would almost classify this as a cross between wine and beer – very intriguing. It’s technically a fruit wheat beer, built upon the Saint Arnold boiler maker brew. It pours a deep red with pink foam and is perfectly carbonated to match the sour crisp flavor of the raspberries!
It smells just like it tastes! Like tart berries with a pleasant alcohol kicker. There wasn’t a distinguishable hop bitterness or heavy malt feel, very crisp and clean mouth feel. Definitely a perfect summer beer – I can see myself picking up another 6 pack of this and hitting the pool this summer! I might be slightly biased due to the fact I LOVE raspberries, but hey….it’s all in the name Raspberry AF! If you don’t like berries I wouldn’t pick this one up off the shelf.
I love that they used fresh berries for this instead of some artificial flavoring, it most definitely comes through and makes this beer shine.
Upon sitting and starting to warm up it did have an almost wine flavor, but still not unpleasant. Overall, I found this one very intriguing and tasty. It was unique to any other beer I’ve tried this far for sure!!
